Dammit now part of me is thinking how either a Ceiling Cat or Longcat/Tacgnol plushie(s) would come out =^_^=

I'd suggest Eben & Snooch, but they already have their own official plushies that I gotta get at some point.

Well, it's not exactly a secret, so I'll just put it out here.

What I do is I make a dummy in the shape I want the plush, from wadded up newspaper and tape. Here's the dummy I used for these 'eon plushes, for example: http://www.sparkcostumes.com/gallery...s/DSCN0683.JPG
      That's very clever!

Oh, those would be easy enough, there's all kinds of pretty sparkly fabric in the stores that could be used. I've seen some that even change colors depending on how the light hits it.

I will spend my life hunting for this most glorious fabric! It shall be my life's quest.

http://spandexworld.com/c3/catalog/browse/3 or http://www.distinctivefabric.com/fab...oduct=LIQLAME2 Always order swatches before you buy a yard though! The photos don't show the effect very well, and not all of the fabrics do it very well.

Or go to any large fabric shop (fabric specialists, or craft shops large enough that the fabric section may as well be a fabric specialist) and ask.

If you're going to look for the fabrics, poke around near the sequinned fabrics and whatnot, chances are it may be around there. I've noticed that fabric stores tend to group the fabrics according to need (i.e. the flashy weird stuff gets put together, then the everyday clothing fabrics are put together and so on)
