  • You know the neighborhoods a little sketchy....

    when the corner grocery is called "Shiv's."

    All I did was kick up the contrast of this a bit in photoshop so it's easier to read. So if it looks a little photoshopped, I assure you I didn't add anything to it other than a little white balance and burning in.

    I took this at the red light on my phone out of my sister van this weekend when I was in Savannah. I just thought it was funny.

        Actually, that sounds like an EXCELLENT name for a corner store. Might give would-be robbers a little food for thought.

        Heck, maybe "Shiv's" was meant to do just that.

        I know, the car wash sign's a nice touch. That kind of made me smile.

                  Savannah is a long way from Harlem.

                  I'm trying to decide which is worse...
                  The Shogun of Harlem running a car wash in Savannah or me remembering that movie after 27 years.
                  Life is too short to not eat popcorn.

                    The movie is to be remembered for all of eternity. Its a CLASSIC. They're even remaking it!
