As far as the dog park goes, most of the people there are pretty good. Luckily there have been no aggressive dogs and uneducated people tend to listen.
Today was a normal day, a few people there and we're all talking. There's a guy there with his daughter (7ish?) and their dog (a rescue lab). The dogs are all playing (running around etc.). well, the pack runs past this person and his daughter and he starts to look a bit agitated (what do you expect? You're in a DOG PARK!!!).
Well, Pollux stopped and looked at his daughter who was playing with a stick. What does she do? She takes a swing at Pollux with the stick (as in to hit him on the head with it!). My wife and I both yell at them to NOT hit him with a stick.
Of course, Pollux being himself just stood there wanting to make friends. The girl pulls her arm back again (as in to attempt to strike him again) and what does Pollux do? Living up to his nickname, Puck, he leaped forward and grabbed the stick from her and ran off. As he ran past us with the stick we could see the largest grin on his face, I'm sure if he could he would have been laughing at them.
Of course the girl cries off to her father about how the mean dog stole her stick. Of course, he told her yes, he was mean. Well, she tried to hit him with the stick and he did probably what was one of the best (and funniest) things he could have done.
