I feel you. It's been five years since I last had anything resembling a relationship and even longer than that since I've been in a serious relationship. I've pretty much given up at this point because the pain of things going sour is more than I can really handle right now. I'm focusing on me before I put myself back out there.
Hugs. Getting dumped sucks. I went 12 years between my ex husband walking out and finding a true life partner. Most guys I dated ran screaming within a month or two. Having disabled kids scares away most people. Then finally, 3 years ago, I got together with my current SO. It was worth the wait. Hopefully you'll meet your Mrs. Right soon.

I went about four years without a date. Then I wound up seeing several different women in rapid succession. Would up living with one of them, and eventually married her.
