Opening Day at the Soo Locks

My Dad and I headed up to the Soo Locks for Opening Day. The Soo Locks are up in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan and are used by the ships that ply the Great Lakes. In normal years, the Lakes are frozen over from December to around this time, so they normally take the Locks down to do maintenance. They opened at the same time this year but probably could have opened sooner. Anywho....pictures.
