Gregg Allman has passed away at the age of 69. He was one half of the Allman Brothers.

If the truth be told, he never quite got over losing his brother Duane back in the early 70's (Duane died at 24 in a motorcycle accident in 1971 not long after their album At Fillmore East was released earlier that year.)
It was also reported that he'd been dealing with multiple health issues over the last decade, mostly heart related problems. Not suprising given his earlier days of alcohol and drugs.
