So this woman called in to see why we called her. I told her it was because her account was past due. The following conversation occurs:
Me: Well, it looks like your account is $xx.xx past due.
SC: (with attitude) Actually, it's not really past due. I have it is due on the 13th and I mailed it yesterday.
Me: ... Today is the 15th.
SC: I know!
Me: ... So yesterday was the 14th...
SC: I'm not stupid!
Me: ... So, you mailed it the day after it was due.
SC: So?
I don't imagine I have to explain why that conversation was weird. The funny part is that her bill is really due on the 27th, so this is last month's bill. I have no clue where she got her dates from, but even if she weren't mistaken, she just admitted she was past due while yelling that she's not.
