When we don't have customers or patients, I make phone calls to patients comming in the next day. I had to call this one lady to verify her information and notify her of her estimated amount due. She's obviously very crafty and clever because when I called her she said that I had the wrong number but forgot to hang up. She then start's to laugh and say "That bitch on the phone thinks she got the wrong damn number.. haha! I ain't going to pay my bills!!".. too bad she was soo crafty I couldn't have only saved her alot of time, but I also had information on assistance for her bill (she didn't have insurance) that she won't be able to get tommorrow...

Something similar I get is when people ask for a rate and say "Tarnation! (insert preferred expletive here) That's too expensive!" and just hang up.

Most hotels have discounts, you just have to have the patience to ask for them. And alot of people are willing to help you, you just have to not be a complete retard.
