    In a laptop...

The CPU doesn't really matter - it will virtually always drive whatever's in the rest of the machine. The RAM doesn't really matter (you can always upgrade it). The HD doesn't really matter (you can upgrade *that* too).

The only things that matter are the keyboard, mouse substitute, display and display driver (graphics chip). Oh, and the battery.

The keyboard and mouse-equivalent you have to try for yourself. Every laptop is different for those. Look for stupid layouts that will have to accidentally hitting the wrong keys. If you aren't used to a clitmouse (you'll know it when you see it) don't get one - get a trackpad instead.

The display is also a personal choice. You don't get as much variety in laptops as in desktop monitors though - it's all constrained by power and weight. You basically get a choice of size, matte/shiny, and sometimes pixel density. If you don't want to be staring at your own reflection whenever you use it, get a matte one.

The display driver is what determines performance in games - as others pointed out, it has virtually no effect on anything else. If you're only playing WoW, then any Nvidia 8xxx or 9xxx series will work fine. So will any ATI X1xxx or HD2xxx series. Bigger numbers (from the same manufacturer) are generally better, so get the best one you can afford.

It doesn't actually matter if the graphics chip in a laptop is removable or not. If you get a good enough one to begin with, the machine will probably fall apart before it stops being useful - especially if you never plan to play anything "graphics heavy". Which WoW will never be.

Battery life is self-explanatory. Note that playing WoW will drain the battery much faster than "typical" use, or even DVD-watching, so plan to plug it in while playing anyway.
