I may have been a little sucky in this one just because of the way it played out, but I got a good laugh out of it. So did the customer's boyfriend.
Female customer comes through my line... blah blah how are you blah blah, "Okay, total tonight is $13.06".
Her: "Here's $20, hold on I, I think I have some cents"
Me: "Good, I don't have any sense at all."
Her: "Yeah I think I have it here *digging in wallet*"
Me: "Yup, no sense".
Her: *digs in wallet some more*
Her boyfriend and I are both biting our lips trying not to crack up. Finally as she started handing me some change, her boyfriend just says "You dumbass!" to her and starts cracking up.
She goes "Huh? What?", but her bf was laughing and I was trying not to laugh (and failing). She finally realizes what she missed and blushes and starts laughing. When I handed her her change I said "Thanks for playing along, have a good night".
