  • Why you shouldn't trust nobody

A woman calls and says she works for Luly's. She asks for "Graham". Graham works at another library. Graham told her he was coming right back to pay her. She noticed he worked at the information booth of the Fluff library (we are not the Fluff library but it's part of our system). She called the Fluff library and they said he doesn't work there now.

She really didn't say what she wanted me to do, she just tells me he was coming back to pay her but he never did. I tell her did she get his last name. She said no. I tell her if she calls back the Fluff library and get his last name, then she can talk to human resources to find out where he is (if he still worked here, though; they won't give any info. if he doesn't).

She said she guess she shouldn't trust nobody, now she has to pay out of her pocket. She then said, "You know how expensive Luly's is." I can dine there for about $10, like get a plate for $8.35, and the soda is $1.65. Plus tax it will be more than $10. It sucks, and goodness knows if she learns her lesson, but they don't sell beer there, and if he bought pie and stuff that would make it more but it's not that expensive.

But yeah, poor lady. Sucky Customer to do that to her.
Time! Time! Time is what turns kittens into cats.

Don't teach me a lesson; all I learn is that you are an asshole.

    I wish porn had subtitles.

Hard lesson - but true. If a customer claims they'll be right back to pay, you say "No, you will be paying before you leave the premises or you and my friends in blue will be having a dicussion about it."

only way to "trust" someone is if they leave something of true value behind.
like their ID card / license as insurance to coming back
but even then, you can get scammed.
