Seven-year-old logic

There was the cutest scenario between this kid and his mom today. She was checking out and he was perusing the candy. He brought a piece over to her and asked her to buy it. Answer was no. He picked out a different kind. Answer was still no. Tried it with 1 or 2 other kinds. Didn't work, so he gave up. I remarked that it was funny how he was going through each kind of candy, until he found the one that would magically elicit a "yes." She had to laugh at his kid-logic.

Ah yes, the incredible kid logic of "well, she didn't say no to ALL candy, just THIS type...."
