Got turned down for a promotion.

I decided to come here and vent. I work for an online University, names are not important. However, I have been with the company for a couple of years, which is longer then any other person in my position (we have not been an online university for very long). Any way, I just got turned down (the third time) for a promotion at work. The person who got the position I trained. I think the reason she got the promotion is because she is friends with management. In addition, one of her students just requested for her not to be her adviser because she told the student a certain program would take a year longer then it actually does. I just think it is not fair.

I know, life is not fair. Ok, thanks for listening to me vent. I feel better.
