We ran out of every single kind of bag the other day at my work place.

You wouldn't believe the abuse I got from the people that needed bags for their one precious item that they just can't carry in their hands. Not to mention the evil stare someone gave me when they saw a bag behind the counter - oh how her face fell when I showed her that the bag was torn and that she couldn't have a good complain about poor customer service and us hiding the bags.

I was just about ready to scream if I heard 'you are a big store, you shouldn't run out of bags' one more time.

Yes we are a big store, but we often have distribution issues and items will not arrive on delivery despite us ordering it. That day it had been bags .... go figure.
