I love the idea of it, but in my opinion I think that people should be able to post critiques, if the author/artist wants any. I think as long as no one starts flaming another's work, then it should be fine. And then the author/artist could just put at the bottom whether or not they want critiques. I think as long as everyone respects everyone else, and doesn't decide to act childish, then it would be fine.

I can completely understand where you are coming from on this, but we are dealing with humans, and things don't always run as smoothly and objectively as we would like them to. Feelings do get hurt.
There is a rating system.
I don't think a lot of people are using it, though.
I think, if people want critique, they could post at the bottom that comments are welcome through PM.Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.
