-Yes, that was his! And you took $80 from him! I just checked his account and it's GONE! Now he doesn't have any money for groceries or gas, or books! How is he supposed to LIVE now?!
always interesting that $$$ for groceries, gas, and books wasn't much of a priority... until he got towed for parking where he shouldn't.
The real WTF here is that after saying "No" to the partial charge, it got marked as reserved anyway. I don't understand why such a bizarre method of operation is necessary - which most likely means it isn't necessary, just the CC company being deliberately obtuse for their own ends.
As for calendar parking, there's a joke about that in Finland:
Jari and Kari share a house in a small city. One winter there was an unusual amount of snow, so the radio announcer warned everyone to park on the north and east sides of the road so that the snowplough could get through. So Jari went out and moved the car.
The following day there was another blizzard, so the radio announcer this time warned everyone to park on the south and west sides of the road. Jari grumbled a bit, but went and moved the car again.
For the third day in a row, there was another winter storm, and the radio warned to park to the north and east again. Jari was now pretty angry, and ranted about the hassle while pulling his boots on. Kari replied: "Why not just leave it in the garage this time? Nobody will know."
