    I also try to plan ahead as far as the whole resturant movie thing . . . .
    When the Wait Person shows up I let them know I have tickets for a show at blank time . . .I know you don't personally cook the food - but anything you can do to help make sure we are out in a timely manner is appreciated.
    Of course I make sure to chose a place where I already know what I want to order (same with my friends) so it doesn't fall back on us waiting for them to return to the table to take our order.
    We had a Waitress one time that was given our table and then a big group (like 20 people) came in . . .she actually had another Waitress take over our table instead of hit or miss with the group.
    So when the 2nd Waitress came with the charge slip I handed her two tips in cash - one for her and one for the original waitress . . .both equal in amount. It wasn't the first girls fault she got a big top and yet she still got us out on time - yes I will reward that.
