My first was born breech... 41 years ago in 4 hours... her mama didn't appreciate the upside down X-Ray either.

She only weighed 5 lb 10 oz, though full term, high Apgar test results,

I was very shy, I didn't want to come out until the doc and most of the staff were on their dinner break.

          He's beautiful.
          Grandchildren are the best!
They are the reward for putting up with our children.
They have so much technology now to help out with preemies.
          It's amazing.
He will be home soon enough and ready to be spoiled rotten.

My own daughter was 6 weeks premature and was 5 lbs 2 oz and 21 inches long.
If she had gone full term, she would have been huge!
She had to stay behind for about a week after I got home.
Too tired of living and too tired to end it. What a conundrum.

            Yay baby!

I was 6lbs 9ozs at full term...but I was an inch shorter. So I'd say he's doing pretty good.
