For the record, it is one of the rarest Nintendo cartridge in the world, second only to the gold cartridge given out by Nintendo Power. And yes, that cutout is supposed to be there, as those switches are used to adjust the timer on the cartridge.

I remember going to this in Hartford, CT.....I did rather horribly, but my friend made it the semi-finals. I chanted "Get the star, Jimmy, the star" (cookies for reference)

Funny thing is, years later, I found out that my bf was there as well...
