I had a similar situation at the marina I work at. I do all the odd jobs for the owner. It was just after a terrible storm and we had a couple of damaged trees in the parking lot. I was up a ladder trying to mentally pick my cuts before I climbed back up with the chainsaw. I don't know how this guy did it, but when I went to step down the ladder, I was standing on the hood of this idiot's car. He had literally drove over my cones and rope to park in the one spot I was working in, so close that his bumper was almost touching my ladder. And just like in your case, the parking lot wasn't close to full. The guy started screaming at me that I scratched his car with my boots. He didn't move his damn car until I started my chainsaw and walked towards his car. Seriously one of the dumbest mothers I've ever dealt with.
