Thank goodness Vegas casinos aren't like that. I can't count how many times I've dropped a few bills and not even seen a cocktail waitress. I'll be damned if I play even $20 and not get a scotch for it at least. I can't imagine a casino so strict with the watered down and tiny drinks they serve as freebies. I'm assuming they were serving real sized drinks?

I'm disappointed. A thread title like "The Chicken People" promises tales of people who take their pet chicken shopping.
As am I, but I was picturing the half-man, half-chicken character on some Tv show I saw...what was it? I wanna say "Kids in the Hall"

^^ $6? Ouch. I can almost buy a six-pack down here for that. It's because they make it with champagne yeast, isn't it?

Not bad on the Newcastle, though. The pizza joint I frequent has it for 3.29 a bottle. Although last time I was there I got one comped because I ordered one, and told the server I might want another. Close to finishing I decided I did not, in fact, want another, and when she came by again, I was going to tell her. Only problem was the next time she came by, she had a second Newcie, already opened. "Oh Noes!" I proclaimed. "I was just going to tell you I didn't want the second!"

She just thought for a minute, then laughed and said, "Well, it's already open, and I should probably have checked with you before I opened it, so... might as well drink it, but I won't charge you for it."

She got an extra large tip that night.
There's a beer called Original Sin? I thought you were asking about the cocktail made with brandy, champagne, triple sec, cherry licquer, and sweet and sour. The bottle of beer would probably be $2.50 or $2.75, depending on what our manager considered it.

This casino is only like that because of all of the people that have tried to scam it. Regardless of what the "policy" is, it's always up to the bartender or server's discretion.

We have no idea how much you've played out on the floor. If you come up and go all "entitlement" on us, we'll make you wait for the server. We'll make sure to point you out to the server though. However, If you're a regular that I know plays a lot, I won't hold you to the policy. If you're a known high roller, you don't even have to play to get what you want.

It's a hard cider. There is however a beer called Forbidden Fruit which is one of my favourites when I got to the Belgian Beer Cafe (it's great, I spend the same amount as I would at any other bar but on fancy pants, top quality imported beers. So I have a better time and still remember it in the morning)
