Default Hard to put a title to it!

Weird situation today.

Was at the McDonalds next to where I work and ordered my usual BBQ Bacon Angus Burger, no tomatoes. All kinds of crazy bums ordering too, really hectic. I get my burger and then head back to work. McDonalds manager comes in about 1 minute later:

Manager: Sorry but the burger was unacceptable, there was tomato on it accidentally.
Me: Wow, thanks but I can just remove the tomato myself.
Me: *thinking* wow, since when does a manager go out of his way to make me happy? Especially at McDonalds.

I understand his viewpoint - you had ordered it without tomato, and it arrived in its default configuration (i.e. with tomato). What was unacceptable is that his employees didn't do a special order properly.

When I get that burger, I also do a special order - half the sauce they normally use (too messy with a full dose), and regular Big Mac style onions instead of the fried onions (I hate the fried onions). Frequently it comes with sliced onions (as on the other Angus burgers) instead of the chopped onions used on a Big Mac, but for me that's no big deal. What would be a big deal would be if they left out the "g" - that would make the burger taste like ass.
