There is a sterile superglue out there. It's called dermabond, it it superglue in a lip gloss roll tube for easy application. It is mucho expensive though, and I'm not sure if it is available to the public, or just medical facilities.

They use it for certain types of surgeries/injuries instead of stitches...when my cat got spayed they used dissolving stitches on the inside layer and glue on the outside. It just wears off and you don't have to go back to get stitches removed.

I've had my 2 ounce tube of Norwegian Formula for months...a tiny little dab, like half a pea-size, covers both hands...
