    I've been known to ask "where am I?" but it was a joking way to ask the much wordier question "What is the name of this store and is that what I should write on this check in my hand?"

    Since I'm telling bus-driving stories lately, I must mention the conversation reported by our dispatcher:

    Caller: What time does the bus come?
    Dispatcher: Where are you?
    Caller: What do you need to know that for?
    Women can do anything men can.
    But we don't because lots of it's disgusting.

      Ah, the days I partied harder than I do now.
      I've never woken up in strange cities, but have woken up in the outlying areas, 2 hours walk to get home, no idea which direction to set off in, and no idea how I got there...

      My most used phrases in those situations?
      'Where am I, Who are you, where's the nearest bus to home from here?'
