It's been three years since the Awesome Forest captive wolf pack had pups, for various reasons. This year the alpha female, Granite, looked to be pregnant but she never got really big so it was hard to tell.

Well, the Biologist entered the den today and there are four pups!

No pictures yet, as they are only a day or so old, and no idea on gender. But...wolf puppies! Hooray!

I had the opportunity to hold a wolf pup at a local rescue center. Sooo cute.
