  • Thank you kindly for the Moose.

We're getting a live moose at work.

I learned this today in the morning meeting, where all the Awesome Forest employees get together before work. The Ministry of Natural Resources is giving us an honest-to-goodness live moose.

Apparently this moose is tame, and has been wandering around the area getting too close to people. The MNR don't want to kill it, so they phoned us asking if we could give it a home.

He(or she, we don't know yet) will be a research moose, technically. We are going to try and figure out ways to cure different parasites that have negative effects on moose.

Still, I am so excited! If all goes well, he will be tranked and ready for pickup tomorrow! We have his paddock all ready!

    Any suggestions for a name?

      Bullwinkle?
Coffee should be strong, black and chewy! It should strip paint and frighten small children.

For a sec I forgot where you worked and was thinking of a store like IPF's. Now that made for an interesting daydream.
