I took a delivery call from a hotel the other day. Normal order conversation and such till the end.
The customer says "How will I know the delivery drive is here??"
OK legit question as some hotels let us go directly to the room, some have the front desk call to verify the order, and one or two have the driver wait in the lobby while the customer comes to the lobby to pick up the order.
For this hotel we can go directly to the room and I tell him this.
BUT
In the back of my mind I am thinking: WELLL, the driver will Bruce Lee style kick down your door, rush into the room, Gibbs slap you several times, call you Shirley, then hand you your order.
