The local grocery store had "Sweet Child O' Mine" on the Muzac.

When did Guns and Roses go to muzac?

Old age ain't for sissies! My parents just turned 85 & 82 in the last 15 days... and we're planning a family reunion this summer for my grandfather's 120th .(he made it to 89)

I'm realizing that I knew several relatives born in the 1870s...

I can still remember some IBM JCL.
i still work with TSO and the older TPF. my first programming language after BASIC was assembler for OS390.

Bi directional 2400 baud modems being fast.
Pulse dialling a phone call manually
In 1982 I had a 300 baud moden that I had to place the handset of a phone onto AND manually dial the actual phone to get connected. my first online experience. I had a home terminal (VT-100 flavor Heathkit) that I bought used and assembled from the Heathkit store.

speaking of that anyone remember Heathkit stuff????

I don't drink and never have, but the very first -- and only -- time I ever bought booze (for a friend's birthday party) they didn't card me. That really made me feel old.
