The the last few days I’ve been enjoying this entirely too much. It’s been sort of the internet equivalent of standing in line and seeing the guy ahead of you PWN the douch who was being rude. Having suffered bullying both as a child and as an adult it’s been cathartic to see a bully actually get his. He fancied himself a “social networking specialist” but made the unforgivable error of bullying a customer to the point where he pissed off the Internet – which promptly lit him on fire and threw him under a bus. It’s one thing to want to sass a pesky customer and quite another thing to do so nastily and in a nearly illiterate series of emails, followed up by a show of ego that dropped the collective jaw of the interwebs. Dave wanted to buy two Avenger game controllers, one for himself and another as a Christmas gift. His credit card was charged, but he did not receive his controllers, nor did he receive an notification of when they might ship. He politely wrote to ask when he could expect delivery and found himself in the swirling commode of possibly the worst customer service in the history of the internet. Paul Christoforo showed the world how to lose your customers, your job and your reputation in...oh...about 8 hours time. He followed that act with an interview for MSNBC wherein he assigned blame to everyone but himself...and topped it off by trying to extort the company he was working for by holding their email and Twitter accounts hostage.
