    Hello all,

While I've been out of the service industry for years, I'm sad to say that that doesn't prevent SC encounters from happening. If anything, it seems it got worse as the SC is typically a vendor, or worse, a division of your company upon whom you rely on to meet deadlines. Make them mad and suddenly life gets hard on you. So I'll be peppering the forums with some of the better (or worse depending on your viewpoint) tales.

Of course that was until my entire section got laid off . . .

Now, thanks to me making a joke to my wife and she taking it serious, I'm back in college going for a masters degree. I'm also working as a computer lab assistance, read: back into customer server I go. (yay!)

Which leads to: Why is it that when some relatively intelligent people sit down in front of a computers their brain turns off?

Well... this introduction turned out kind of long so I'll be stopping now.
