    I've been lurking about for a few weeks, and thought I'd introduce myself.

    I've been in and out of retail for 6 (!) years. (I just realized this. Eek.) I've worked in two Deseret Industries thrift stores (operated and owned by the LDS/Mormon church) for a year and a half combined. I was at JCPenney over the holidays one year, and I was at Target for almost three years.

    Any stories I tell will be dusty with age, as I'm not working at all right now. Details may be fuzzy but the suckiness certainly won't be.

    I'll be in school soon, so I'll probably have stupidity reports from there.

      10 years, almost! But I finally escaped. (Well, technically I'm still in retail but I work for the distribution center now and have NO CUSTOMERS!!! )
