  • Android Kitkat help

So I stupidly upgraded my tablet to Kitkat without reading the reviews of it first, and now Polaris Office can't write to the external SD card. I found a workaround that supposedly fixes this, but it requires the tablet to be rooted, and the only instructions I can find for that require a PC and I have a Mac. Can anyone help? Is going back to the previous Android version possible?

I don't personally know the answer to this, but I'm sure the collective mind at Android Forums will have a solution for you.

To go backwards will require being rooted as well. Is your tablet in warranty? If not, I'd just root and roll folder mount from the play store.
