  • Internet Explorer Security bug?

Just a few moments ago, I opened this site and got this message:

A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer

This program will open outside of Protected mode. Internet Explorer's Protected mode helps protect your computer. If you do not trust this website, do not open this program.

    Name: Adobe Flash Player
    Publisher: Adobe Systems Incorporated
And I keep trying to close it, and it keeps coming up. It takes five-seven Don't Allow clicks to close it, then when I exit the page and go to the next, it pops up again. This has never happened before. Someone might be trying something funny with this site, and I thought you ought to know about it.

We don't have anything playing flash on here.

Any particular page or all of them?

Questions that I need answers to please:

      Which URL(s) trigger this?
What Operating System are you using? Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Vista, Windows XP?
What browser version? Go to the Help menu, and that will contain an "About" option that will tell the browser version.

I'll start looking to see what's going on right now, though.

I've checked over the logs, and can't find anything on the site that's trying to send you anything flash related. Have you checked your computer for any sort of malware?

Yes, I just did the full scan. Haven't had a problem since, though the bug was just coming up on these pages. Hopefully that takes care of it. Thank you for your help.
