  • This is Maddness!

Just a quick one, but a recurring one. Our guest wifi password changes from time to time. It's really helped prevent non-guests from using guest wifi. But this month there's a problem. The password contains the word "Madness" in it. If I've had to read the password to a guest, I've lost count of how many times they thought it had an extra "d"

Maybe that's why they're at a hotel. They want the D.

One possibility I can sort of understand (not a follower of sports, so I may have the details wrong) is that they're getting "madness" (NCAA event, "March Madness") confused with "Madden" (famous person involved in professional sports). The trouble is that (IIRC) March Madness is BASKETBALL, and Madden was involved in FOOTBALL.

Sports fans would recognize that different sports were involved, while non-fans wouldn't draw the connection.
