So, just came across something a bit odd. My BFF's doggie died late last night.
She wasn't answering her texts, so Hubs and I decided to drop by to check on her.
We pulled up, and we parked behind car, but her mom's was gone. Where her mom's car should
have been was a car from Texas...
I didn't think she had company....
"Sorry, sorry, I'm moving!" Some guy ran over from next door and hopped in the car and drove off. There was a moving truck next door, and it looked like someone was moving in. And the guy just decided to randomly park in his new neighbor's driveway, not knowing who they were or if they were home or not. He seemed to think we must have lived there, so I don't think he'd met BFF or BFF's mom yet.
I would like to also note that there is absolutely no shortage
of street parking in this neighborhood. In fact, aside from the story I'm about to get to, there wasn't a single
car parked on the street, which meant he literally could have parked anywhere
that wasn't blocking a driveway. It was all available
To add a cherry on top: The moving truck was ready to move, but someone else was parked across the driveway blocking them in. That person was either also moving in, or a realtor (local plates), because the truck honked several
times, until finally a woman ran out of the house where the truck was parked
and moved her car!
I finally did get in touch with BFF btw. She was downtown with her mom. We're going to meet up tomorrow. I think I'll wait to tell her about her new insane neighbors until then.
