I placed mine on a cemetery where I go to practice my photography. They have some beautiful angels there, as well as a WWI soldier statue, an old school boy scout and some other lovely statuary. Interesting to see that i8dacookie lives in my town and Giggle Goose lives kind-of near to where my son works.

Just added mine for the new town (a few months late). I first placed it zoomed out and it landed on the top of the mountains. As I don't have a multi-million dollar mountain top mansion I moved my marker to the town "entrance".

Placed my marker. Just wanted to remind our members not to be too exact on their markers. A closeby highway or intersection may be best. When you zoom in it can be very detailed.

I just put it on my home town.

I place mine at the intersection where my favorite restaurant is (Astro Burger is the best place on the planet, so please do visit if you are ever in salt lake... and if it's on a thursday during lunch and I'm not doing a crap load of overtime you might even run into me).... great, now I'm hungry...
