Christmas presents for sponsor children?

Christmas is coming and I would like to get a Christmas present for a child that I started sponsoring this year. She's 11 and lives in el Salvador. I have no idea what 11-year-old el Salvadorean girls are into and what they would cost to buy-there were some ideas that came to mind-maybe something like a craft type thing to make things with?
Apparently things she likes are-- riding her bike, story books, fried fish and pink...

Maybe one of those kits that you can make bracelets with? Pick something with a lot of variation in the beads and she can make personalised ones for herself, her friends and her family.
