As UK workers might know, from Wednesday of this week the old £20 note is no longer going to be accepted in stores for transactions - people are going to have to go to the bank and swap them out. That means I am not allowed to take any of these £20 notes, otherwise my till will be £20 down because the cash office will not accept the notes anymore.
I just KNOW this is going to cause no end of problems
People are going get angry, they're going to shout, I'm going to have to have countless transactions voided because people will decide they don't want their stuff anymore or don't have enough cash to pay for it. 
On the plus side however - seeing as there is a minimum amount you must spend to pay on your card at my store - it might save me from having to give a large amount of change on a transaction that is less than £5 because I cannot accept the £20
