I got hired in October at a storage place, and I have stories!

1) while inventorying some units for auction, we find a unit with bread and eggs visible in the unit. Now, units only go to auction after no payment for 60 days, and you get locked out after no payment for 30 days. Yeah...

2) 4 Runner vs golf cart.




Golf cart won.


I hit a customer's car with the golf cart and dented the bumper. Golf cart doesn't have a scratch on it.

You will find lots of strange stuff in auction units. I used to work for a storage company and before the 1st auction held after I started there, we found that a customer had been paying almost $200 per month rent on a unit full of empty cardboard boxes. We found another set up like a bedroom, complete with a completely made up bed with a rug next to it
