    Oh yeah, that was way back though. I still remember saving from a C64 to cassette. Then our school got the floppy drive - Sometimes, I swear the tape drive was faster. (Anyone that has used a C64 will get that...)

    Even the Atari 2600 had an add-on where the games came on cassette, called the Starpath / Arcadia Supercharger. (Scroll about halfway down the page for a pic and a little story on it).

      TI pc with cassette tape (sold, goddamn mommy I love you but...)
      C64 with disk drive (still have it and it still works!)

        C64 with a tape drive here. Then we got the disk drive. I remember cutting the notch on the single sided disks so I could use the other side of the floppy.

          Oh, geez, the memories.

          I was the official notch-cutter for my little group because I'm so anal, I'd get it just right.
