I work on the receiving dock for a major home improvement retailer. I talk to drivers daily sometimes. Many of them can start out at $30-50k a year minimum. I've talked to drivers who have been driving for decades. Without even a GED, I've met drivers who make $150k plus working 9 months of the year and then picking up a Thanksgiving to Christmas job with UPS/Fed Ex/etc.
