  • TX ice storm

From what I can gather from friends near Houston, it's rather evil. Temperatures down to 2F, roads treacherous, no power, hail and snow..
Brrrrr keep safe all you guys over there.

Sounds like a spring day in Chicago.

However, San Antonio probably has less snow removal equipment than we have in the Atlanta area.. Atlantans will freak their shit at a .25" of snow.

    Stay safe Texas.

Where I live, right now, it is 17ºF. It's supposed to "top out" at 24ºF today, and only hit 27ºF tomorrow. We won't get above freezing until Saturday.

Someone please tell Strait McCool to come and get the weather here!

It's very bad in TX. I really feel for the whole state. No power=no heat. It's cold here but we have the infrastructure.

I had no power for 24 hours on the 16th. I had some relatives with no water or power for about 18 hours. Unfortunately one of my friend's uncles died in San Antonio. He didn't have power (I'm not sure for how long) but he stood outside of a Wal-Mart for 6 hours to get supplies.
