It seems the criminal fraternity has been keeping its brain cells in order for the last month or so. Now March has arrived and they've not disappointed
Miss C(who is a thoroughly horrible specimen of humanity)was jailed for 10 years. Whilst on bail for snatching the wallet of an 84-year-old man in a street mugging, she broke into a 98-year-old woman's home and threatened her with a knife. Identification was made much easier by the fact Miss C helpfully left all her bail papers and legal documents behind in the victim's house.
Mr X and Mr Y were jailed for possession and distribution of marijuana.Police were kindly provided with a full recording of the deal after one of the accused had not realized he had accidentally dialled 999 on his phone which was in the right hand buttock pocket of his jeans.
Mr A was arrested after being stopped by police for violating Covid travel regulations whilst travelling to a local rave. When he was taken to the police station, his fingerprints matched those of a suspect in a scam ring which was conning hundreds of thousands of pounds out of elderly people. Police now had his full name,address and details to be able to charge him.
When Mr Z was stopped for a traffic violation,he gave a false identity. Unfortunately the false identity Mr Z chose to use was found to be wanted for drug dealing and several serious sex attacks. Mr Z quite wisely chose to plead guilty to his traffic violation and supplying false information.
