  • Is this permanent?

As y'all know, I had brain surgery about 6 months ago. In February, I finally got around to getting my hair cut and colored (I started going gray when I was just shy of 21). The grays are already coming back in a super huge way. Usually it takes a good 4 or 5 months for that to happen.

Now, I know that having surgery tends to mess with your body in weird ways, but is my hair permanently screwed up?

Could've been the surgery, could've been something else. Minoxidil might restore some life and color to the hair, but you might be stuck with it.

It might be that you have hit the age at which they really come in at the same time you had surgery.
