PLEASE! Do not call a restaurant at 12:15pm and order something you want to pick up after 2:00. Further, do not keep me on the phone talking to you (even if you're both totally polite AND a regular customer) for several minutes as the kitchen gets more and more backed up with orders for right now. Especially since I then get yelled at for not getting my part of them made promptly.

I don't know why people fail to understand this.

If they're ringing that late and talking your ear off they're probably a little lonely or something. Annoying though when you have a million things to do.

Not quite the same thing but one time when it was busy a woman called me up ask me what movies were playing at the cinema across the street. She wanted me to go and look out the window and check instead of just calling them herself, maybe they hadn't opened yet? Come on, I have other things to do!!
