At my old store we closed at 9 PM. If there were still customers in the store, I advised them we were closing and to wrap up their business. I also LOCKED the door and stood by it so no more customers get in and I could unlock as needed to let the stragglers out. I'm not one of those believers in leaving the door open until all the customers or gone.
