2016 seems bound and determined to do as much damage as it can before it departs...

I just saw that. I typed in news and it was the first thing. What is up with all these not-really-old celebs dying? I think of 80 as old...

It appears that since 2016 hasn't yet claimed Carrie Fischer, it claimed somebody else. This murderous beast must be put out of our misery1!!

WTF!!!!!! OMG, I had to go on CNN.com to make sure what I heard was real!! May he rest in peace.
His music was a huge part of my late teens/early 20's in the 1980"s.

Kinda sums up the numbness I've built up...

            Early 2016 -

            Me: Oh NO!
Mr. Zel: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU YELLING UP ABOUT?
Me: Just read on Twitter... Alan Rickman died...
Mr. Zel: Really? So soon right after Lemmy and Bowie? Boy, that sucks...

            Tonight -

            Mr. Zel: Oh NO!
            Me: WHO DIED?
Mr. Zel: George Michael, it says so on (national news media)...
Me: Oh boy, there went another one. *Shrugs and goes on YouTube to binge music videos*

            Godspeed you magnificent bastard.

A theory states that if anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for, it will be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

Another theory states that this has already happened.

And a Russian army choir was lost today as well. Plane crash, IIRC.

I posted something on Facebook that went something like "2016 officially sucks, is it 2017 yet?".
Eh, one day I'll have something useful here. Until then, have a cookie or two.

                        It sure does.

On the bright side though, Betty White is still among us.

2016 just really blew goats for me.

My father just passed away this afternoon.
