    California wildfires -- check in please?

    As some of you may know, there are significant chunks of California that are on fire right now. I know a number of people who have been evacuated from around Santa Rosa and Sonoma. The air quality in the SF Bay Area has been really crappy lately, which is a bit hard on athsmatics, but not as hard as on the people who have lost homes obviously.

    I know there are more fires down south, as well.

    Has anyone on here been directly affected by the fires?

    DH lost most of a day's work last week when management decided air quality in American Canyon was too bad, but that's the worst anyone I know has been affected. So far as we know, DH's aunt in Fairfield is OK.
