  • Customer was mad that I was not at my register

Yesterday I had a customer at the grocery store I work at ask me if it was okay for her to go get another item she forgot while I was ringing up her order. Since I was almost at the end of her order, I suggested that she pay and then get what she forgot.

She did that. She also said that she would leave her cart up front.

Then I had to go to the bathroom. So I logged off, turned off my light, and told one of the assistant store managers I had to go to the bathroom.

When I came back, that customer and the front-end supervisor were at the register I was assigned to. The customer told me "you were not at your register when I came back. You should not have left."

So I told both of them that I had to go to the bathroom. The customer said "you should have told someone that as well as the fact that my cart is up here." She did have her cart with her.

I told the front-end supervisor that I did notify one of the assistant managers.

    The customer left.

Customer has an incurable neuroillogical disease: Ravies.

    Don't let them bite you.
