Would anyone care to guess at who these two people are?

An interesting picture I found today, talk about colliding worlds.



It was taken at the Caribou Ranch in Colorado where a friend's sister (the friend is the person who adopted Artemis) works.

A lot of their photos (and recordings, and videos, etc..) were destroyed in a fire in the mid 1980s but a lot was re-donated later on).

Lennon and Hunter S. Thompson, right?

You have one out of the two - he is pretty easy to spot. I know of another picture of the other person but it would be a dead giveaway.

Yep. Here's the caption:

Elton John and John Lennon at the Ranch..I believe this was taken while Elton was recording the ''Captain Fantastic' album.....John Lennon showed up and added backing vocals to Eltons version of 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds'...1975?

She tels us about who visits the ranch, I think she grossly understated who goes there. She mentioned Chicago was there *a lot* - even recording some albums there. They even have some "relaxed" pictures of Michael Jackson from the mid 80's.
